is that they don’t cancel school over a couple inches of snow.
I suppose it’s pretty…if you like white. I’ve always needed a lot more color in my life. Like teal water. Beige sand. Green sea grass. Bright blue sky…
So…dinner is in the crockpot. I’ve done my treadmill time. The house is quiet (except for periodic kitten escapades). All that’s left to do is…WORK! (And laundry. Damn details.)
Maybe for excitement I’ll turn on my fire department scanner and listen to all the chaos caused by the weather. I lead an exciting life! *g* (For the record, the red building in the background of the photo is the fire station…the pic was taken from our back deck.)
What’s everyone else doing today? Got snow? If not, can I come visit?

No snow here but will have below freezing before the day is over and for several days at least at night. Daytime temps probably in the high 30°s.
Ellen, say it isn’t so!!! You’re one of the few I was depending on to have warm weather! Stay warm yourself…do you even have a furnace that far south?
We had 4 inches of snow, work didn’t close the office but I elected to take a personal day as they still have not really mastered
snow removal to my satisfaction. Plan to read and email and maybe catch up on some
tv shows that I’ve recorded. Might go out later this afternoon, if I can convince myself to get dressed!
We are scheduled to get two inches of snow tonight. And the schools did an early release because of it.*sigh*
No snow thankfully! South Texas would roll over and die if we get snow.
Awww Amy I can’t even promise you warm weather! It might even snow here! And we are headed into the coldest four days in a row since 1996… damn I didn’t even have kids then!
Rhonda, sorry you are suffering too! Actually none of you are giving me hope!!! But thanks for commiserating. Maybe if we complain enough we’ll heat the air? (Wishful thinking)
