So the snow was gorgeous back in December when it fell. Yep, all 20 inches of it…it was fun for a day, pretty to look at and got the boys out of the house for several days.
Now? Sick. Of. It.
It’s black and jagged. Uneven. Icy-looking. And still everywhere.
We’ve had a couple days above freezing so it’s been melllllting, but…not enough.
I WANT IT GONE!
If I still lived in Kansas, this is when I could be pretty hopeful that once the current layer of yuck is gone, then spring would make its way in. Here in Wisconsin? I’m afraid to get my hopes up because I remember too many tales of my Wisconsin friends getting nailed by a blanket of white when the rest of us where sporting shorts.
(What? I’m getting no sympathy because of my upcoming beach trip? Okay…fair enough. I’ll try to whine no more…at least in public.)

Waving hand here. We’re in the northern ‘burbs of Chicago, so yeah. Done with winter.
Unfortunately, around here winter isn’t done with us until June 1.
Hmm… my little tongue-sticking-out-face looks more like a smiley face. Not at all what I had in mind. lol
I am tired of the wishy-washy weather, this weekend had all the windows open and last night it was snowing… go figure. Come on spring! Have a great day.
Yes…I’m done with winter and want Spring! I want to see the sun every day and be able to go out without putting on 3 layers of clothes!
