It’s often said that writing is a solitary endeavor but in my house? Not so much.

This is Fudge, aka the boy half of the Vicious Kitten Brigade (VKB). He’s “helping” me with the line edits for Fully Involved, book 3 of the Texas Firefighters series.
Normally I would transfer him to the big cushy chair behind my desk so that he would be comfortable and I could work but…I felt sorry for him. You see, the girl half of the VKB, aptly named Moxie, has learned a new battle skill. During their ongoing kitteh fights, she’s developed a secret weapon that makes Fudge scream like a little girl. Understandably.
She sinks her teeth into his boy parts.
If he wasn’t a bully and twice her size, I might intervene.
They battle it out and then go back to being BFF, just like regular siblings. (Though there is hopefully no ball-biting going on between my chilluns!!!!)

See? She loves him so.
Kitteh naptime now…I’m off to get some unhampered work done.
Happy weekend to you!

That’s hilarious! She could give self-protection lessons to girls.
Too cute…
They are adorable. I used to have 2 cats, one about 2 years older than the other. The older cat was always the boss even though Tiger was bigger. If he did something she didn’t like she would chase him upstairs and then come back down alone. I wouldn’t see Tiger for about an hour or so but then this little face would peek around the corner at the bottom of the stairs. If he had been in time out long enough she would let him come into the living room, if not she’d run over to him smack him on the head and he’d run back upstairs. It was the funniest thing.
Elizabeth, I love it! We also have 3 older cats (aka The Lugs.) The politics between the 5 are sooo funny to watch!
Angela, the cuteness saves them many times each day. *g*
Edie, maybe I can market that!
Oh, those kittehs.
Too cute. I love the sleeping photo.
I was actually going to reply to this yesterday, but my own kitteh wouldn’t stay off my keyboard. So I can totally relate.
